If you've ever watched Clarkson, Hammond, and May haul a questionable car across a continent and thought, "I want to do that," you're in the right place. I want to do that — same.
So we built one. A real road tour run by a 501(c)(3), founded on the belief that unforgettable adventures and meaningful impact belong on the same road.
The kind of trip you’ll be telling stories about for decades. The kind of impact that lasts long after the engines cool.
Encor 1000 runs on imperfect cars, questionable decisions, and the certainty that the best stories are never the ones you planned.
The Potential Challenges
Ridiculous Spoiler: Add a spoiler or wing that is clearly unnecessary and ridiculous.
Mismatched Look: Create mismatched wheels, panels, or accents.
Fake Mod: Bolt on a fake performance part that pretends to do something — but doesn't.

The Parameters
The only rules worth remembering:
- Whether you rescue a $900 Craigslist special or finally buy the car you couldn't afford at 17, the only rule is that your total investment stays under the $10,000 all-in cap.
- Three days. About 1,000 miles. Shared start and finish in Boulder, Colorado. The route? That's our secret.

The Cars
Every great adventure starts with the right wrong car.
Forget perfection. This isn't about showing up in the fastest or most expensive car. It's about finding the one that makes you smile. Maybe it's a $900 Craigslist special. Maybe it's the car you dreamed about when you were 17. Either way, every ENCOR car has a story waiting to be told.
Your total investment is capped at $10,000, including the purchase price, sales tax, registration, tires, fuel, repairs, fluids, and everything else it takes to get to the finish line. Spending less isn't just okay—it often makes for an even better story.
Horsepower and pedigree don't matter here. Character does. Reliability helps. And trusting your car just a little farther than you probably should... that's part of the adventure. Keep it street legal, modify it responsibly, and remember: this is endurance, not destruction.
The Experience

There will be challenges along the way. Light, reversible modifications. Ridiculous challenges that somehow test patience, judgment, and whether you can actually work as a team.
